Her Excellency Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works, announced today (Sunday) the commencement of comprehensive road maintenance works in Fahad Al-Ahmad area, marking the beginning of an 18-project road rehabilitation initiative across Kuwait's governorates in support of the "New Kuwait 2035" vision.
In a press statement, Dr. Al-Mashaan emphasized that the Ministry is implementing its development plans according to the highest technical standards to ensure high-quality projects that will improve road quality and efficiency. This initiative is part of a comprehensive national project to modernize and develop the country's road network infrastructure.
Project Implementation Details:
Fahad Al-Ahmad Area (Section 1):
Supervised by Engineer Mohammed Raa'i Al-Fahma, member of the Contract 15 supervision team in Ahmadi Governorate
Work includes laying Type 3 asphalt according to approved technical specifications
Parallel Projects:
Al-Munqaf (Sections 4 & 1)
Al-Aqeela (Main roads, particularly Street 245)
Infrastructure cleaning in Al-Riqqa and Hadiya areas (Ongoing)
Technical Specifications:
Utilization of premium asphalt mixtures (Type 3) for enhanced durability
Full base layer rehabilitation and drainage system improvements
24/7 supervision by ministry engineers to ensure compliance with international standards
