Egypt strongly condemned on Wednesday the repeated attacks by the Israeli occupation forces on Lebanese and Syrian territories, describing them as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of both Arab nations and a breach of international law and relevant UN resolutions.

In an official statement, Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration emphasized:

• The critical importance of respecting Lebanon and Syria's sovereignty

• Complete rejection of any interference in their internal affairs

• The necessity to preserve both countries' territorial integrity

The Ministry warned that these repeated violations:

• Escalate regional tensions

• Constitute a major destabilizing factor for both countries and the wider region

• Undermine current delicate circumstances where intensive regional and international efforts - with Egypt's active participation - are underway to de-escalate tensions and promote regional security and stability
