Kuwait's Direct Aid Society (DAS) has announced that its affiliated institution, SIMAD University in Somalia, has been awarded a prestigious grant under the European Union's Erasmus+ Programme. The funding will support an international project called READ (Renewable Energy for African Development) aimed at enhancing education and research in renewable energy across sub-Saharan Africa.
