Saudi Arabia Welcomes Joint Statement by 26 International Partners Calling for Immediate End to War in Gaza..

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomed on Tuesday the joint statement issued by 26 international partners demanding:

  1. An immediate end to the war in Gaza

  2. Complete lifting of all restrictions on humanitarian aid

  3. Safe and accelerated delivery of assistance to Gaza's population

The Saudi Foreign Ministry reaffirmed:

  • Rejection of any demographic changes in the Occupied Palestinian Territories

  • Opposition to settlement expansion

  • Condemnation of Israeli occupation authorities' practices, particularly:

    • Blocking humanitarian aid

    • Targeting civilians seeking basic survival needs (food, medicine, water)

The Ministry urged the international community to take swift, practical decisions to counter what it termed "Israeli obstinacy" that prolongs the crisis and undermines regional/international peace efforts.

This comes after the EU, Australia, Japan and 23 European nations issued a joint statement Monday demanding an urgent Gaza ceasefire, citing "unprecedented" civilian suffering under Israeli restrictions that deprive Gazans of basic humanitarian aid.
