Lafi Al-Subai’i: "Responsible media practices, modern technologies, purposeful messaging, and leveraging the expertise of sister nations are what shape genuine media."
An official delegation from the Ministry of Information, led by Assistant Undersecretary for Press, Publishing, and Publications Mr. Lafi Al-Subai’i, paid an official visit to the United Arab Emirates. During the visit, they met with His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al-Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and Chairman of the UAE Media Council, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi, Director General of the National Media Office.
The discussions focused on enhancing media cooperation between the two countries and expanding bilateral coordination amid rapid transformations in the media sector. Both sides also addressed key shared challenges, emphasizing the importance of building an integrated Gulf media ecosystem capable of keeping pace with technological advancements and addressing future challenges.
The delegation reviewed media monitoring and analysis systems designed to ensure safe media content and assess its trends. Additionally, they attended a presentation on the latest AI applications used to support media decision-making.
