Meta has launched its AI-powered voice dubbing feature, which will be available globally starting today on Facebook and Instagram, the company said in an official statement.

The feature allows publishers of short videos to convert their voices into another language with the ability to sync lip movement, a feature that Mark Zuckerberg first demonstrated at Meta Connect 2024 last year.

The service is currently available for English to Spanish audio translation and vice versa only, with the company gradually adding other languages. In the first phase, the feature will be limited to Facebook creators with more than 1,000 followers, while it will be available to any public Instagram account.
