AMD and OpenAI have announced the signing of a multi-year strategic partnership agreement aimed at enhancing the computing capabilities of AI technologies at scale.

Under the agreement, OpenAI will begin using AMD Instinct MI450 series graphics processors during the second half of 2026, with over 6 gigawatts of AMD-chip-based processing capabilities deployed.
