Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, October 9, 2025: Lenovo today announced the official start of construction of its new regional headquarters for the Middle East and Africa in the iconic Majdul Tower in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The event marks a significant milestone in Lenovo's regional growth strategy and reinforces its commitment to supporting Saudi Vision 2030 and the rapid growth of the Middle East and Africa region.
The ceremony marked the official start of the construction of the floor dedicated to Lenovo's regional headquarters. The new headquarters, which is in line with the Ministry of Investment's directives for the establishment of regional headquarters in the Kingdom, is set to be fully operational by March 2026. The ceremony was attended by senior Lenovo leaders, including Matt Zielinski, Executive Vice President and Head of International Markets at Lenovo, Lawrence Yu, Head of Regional Headquarters for the Middle East and Africa, and Giovanni DiFilippo, Vice President and General Manager of Lenovo Saudi Arabia.
The headquarters is located in Majdul Tower, one of Riyadh's most prominent buildings and a growing hub of innovation. The center will bring Lenovo closer to government entities, PIF's subsidiaries and technology partners. This investment builds on Lenovo's recent leadership appointments in Saudi Arabia and its strategic partnership with Alat, a public investment fund-owned company.
Once completed, the new headquarters will serve as a hub for Lenovo's strategy and operations across the Middle East and Africa, furthering the company's strategic investments, partnerships and talent development in the region.
