In order to develop the mechanisms of supervisory work in examinations and achieve the highest levels of transparency and discipline in the course of the evaluation process, the Ministry of Education announced the opening of the application for assignment to the duties of the national supervisor electronically for the second period examinations of the academic year 2025/2026, based on Ministerial Resolution No. (115) of 2025, which aims to regulate the selection procedures and ensure efficiency in supervising examination committees in schools.
The Ministry of Education explained that applications will be available through the Ministry’s official website from today until May 11, stressing that the shift to the electronic platform comes within the framework of the Ministry’s direction towards comprehensive digital transformation and facilitating procedures for educational staff wishing to perform this national task, which enhances the speed and accuracy of the nomination process.
The ministry clarified that the application requirements include that the applicant be a Kuwaiti citizen, have at least six years of work experience calculated up to January 9 of the current academic year, have received an excellent performance rating for the last three consecutive years, and have no outstanding disciplinary penalties in effect against him during the last three years unless they are erased in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Service or canceled by a final judicial ruling, in addition to submitting a criminal record certificate ("no conviction") from the government's "Sahl" application.
The Ministry of Education also stipulated that the national supervisor must not have first-degree relatives in the twelfth, eleventh, or tenth grades, in order to ensure complete impartiality and avoid any potential conflict of interest during the work of the examination committees.
The ministry added that the selection process will include conducting personal interviews for candidates before approving the final names for assignment to the national supervisory role. The process will also include selecting Kuwaiti Ministry of Education employees from the following positions: technical supervisor, head of subject department, and teacher, provided that teachers of the subjects included in the schedule of committee tests that they will supervise are not selected, in order to achieve the principle of neutrality and ensure the integrity of the examination process.
The Ministry of Education stressed that the duties of the national supervisor are among the basic pillars for the success of the examination system, as he is entrusted with monitoring the application of the instructions and procedures organized within the committees, and controlling any violations or transgressions, in order to consolidate the principle of equal opportunities among students and reflect the civilized image of the educational work system.
The ministry concluded by emphasizing that contact will be made with the candidates who passed the interview procedures later to invite them to the coordination meeting that precedes the start of the examinations, with the aim of unifying concepts and clarifying tasks and responsibilities, in order to ensure outstanding performance that reflects the Ministry of Education’s commitment to the highest standards of quality and fairness in the educational evaluation system.
