Google is preparing to expand file sharing support between Android and iPhone via Quick Share, with AirDrop compatibility coming to more phones in the near future.

Google first rolled out the feature with the Pixel 10 series, before later expanding it to older Pixel devices and some Samsung and Oppo phones.

Currently, the feature supports a limited number of devices, including the Pixel 8a and Oppo Find N6. Google has confirmed its imminent arrival on the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S24 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z TriFold.
