The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Kuwait’s condemnation and denunciation, in the strongest terms, of the repeated and heinous Iranian attacks, which represent a dangerous escalation and a direct attack on the security and stability of the State of Kuwait, and a blatant violation of the rules of international law, the Charter of the United Nations and Security Council Resolution No. 2817 of 2026, in addition to the grave threat they pose to the safety of civilians and vital facilities in the country. The ministry stressed that the continuation and repetition of these attacks undermines efforts to reduce tension and threatens security and stability in the region, emphasizing the State of Kuwait’s categorical rejection of these aggressive practices. Kuwait also affirmed its full right to take whatever measures are necessary to preserve its security and defend its territory, holding Iran fully responsible for these heinous attacks, in accordance with international law, the Charter of the United Nations and relevant Security Council resolutions.
