Warning: These devices may freeze after the new Windows 11 update, despite its speed..

Microsoft released the June 2026 Windows 11 update, build number KB5094126, bringing the build number to 26200.8655 for version 25H2 and 26100.8655 for version 24H2. This update promises a faster and more responsive user experience, but it has also opened the floodgates to complaints from users worldwide.

The Windows 11 update offers speed improvements with a Low Latency Profile for faster menu opening.

It reduces memory consumption in File Explorer and lowers interface execution time.

It adds camera and audio sharing, search improvements, and Task Manager enhancements.

The update has raised complaints about the Blue Screen of Death, BitLocker, and OneDrive issues.

A performance leap with the Windows 11 update

is highlighted by a feature called Low Latency Profile, which boosts the processor frequency to its maximum speed for 1 to 3 seconds when opening the Start menu or search window. If you notice that the menu now opens faster, this is the reason.

Tests showed that the frequency jumps above 4 GHz and may even reach 4.5 GHz, while processor utilization remains stable between 10% and 30% without any noticeable increase. The technology is based on the principle of "race to sleep," meaning it finishes the task at maximum speed and immediately returns to power-saving mode, resulting in no excessive heat or battery drain.

Similarly, Microsoft reduced memory consumption in File Explorer by 41% and decreased interface code execution time by 25%.

The Windows 11 June 2026 update

added practical touches that users will notice from day one. Two or more apps can now use the camera simultaneously, allowing you to receive a video call while another app remains connected. For audio, the Shared Audio feature allows you to share audio between two Bluetooth headphones on a single device via Quick Settings by selecting Start Sharing.

The search engine has also been improved, now finding files with just two characters instead of three. Additionally, the Task Manager now displays the NPU (Nuclear Processing Unit) usage for each AI-powered process.
