The Ministry of Information has reaffirmed that all media materials broadcast or published via official television and radio channels, as well as its accredited digital platforms, are subject to rigorous professional and procedural guidelines. These measures aim to ensure content quality and alignment with national constants and the state’s media policy.

In a press statement, the Ministry emphasized that these regulatory frameworks are designed to reflect Kuwait’s civilized image and safeguard its regional and international standing. This is achieved by delivering national media content that meets the aspirations of both the state and society while enhancing the impact of media messaging on public awareness.

The Ministry added that this initiative stems from its national responsibility to protect national identity and consolidate positive values. It further noted its support for individual and institutional initiatives aimed at producing national works that foster a sense of belonging, provided they strictly adhere to approved professional and technical standards.

The statement clarified that textual quality, thematic integrity, and professional presentation are the fundamental pillars for delivering content that expresses national values and embodies the unity of Kuwaiti society.

Furthermore, the Ministry stressed the necessity of prior coordination before the production, execution, or publication of any national works. This ensures the integration of efforts, the unification of the media message, and the optimal utilization of institutional support and guidance within the established framework.
