The Premier Padel Kuwait Major 2026 begins tomorrow at the Arena hall in 360 Mall, bringing together a field of international stars and the sport's top-ranked players. The tournament runs until the 31st of the month.

The event was announced at a press conference held today. It is sponsored by BNK Holding Group and forms part of the Kuwait Youth and Sports Season project.

Bashar Abdullah, acting director of the Public Authority for Sport, said the Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tareq Al-Jalahma, attaches great importance to events of this kind. He pointed to the significant growth padel has enjoyed in Kuwait in recent years and stressed that the authority encourages sport and supports the hosting of major events.

Tournament director Meshal Al-Ansari said this is the first time the tournament has been staged in Kuwait. He praised the sports authority for its support and follow-up in ensuring the event's success, thanked all government bodies and sponsors, and invited fans to attend and enjoy the competition.

Waleed Al-Saqabi, director of the Kuwait Youth and Sports Season project, said the season began on the first of the current month. He added that it aims to strengthen Kuwait's position as a leading destination for international sporting, cultural and youth events, and to attract participants and visitors from within the country and abroad. He said this would support economic and tourism activity and showcase the state's organisational capabilities.
