Vivo officially announced OriginOS 6 during the 2025 Developer Conference, an event that also saw the unveiling of BlueOS 3.0 and CarLink 3.0. The new system was one of the highlights of the conference, offering significant improvements in design and visual interaction.

OriginOS 6 comes with a new design that gives the interface a deeper and more gradient feel, as the elements rely on three-dimensional effects with shadows and transparency that add overlapping visual layers, giving the experience a look similar to the liquid glass effect that Apple introduced in iOS 26.
