His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah directed the importance of operating the health insurance hospitals, considering it a strategic project that contributes to enhancing the financial sustainability of the state, developing the infrastructure, and supporting the health system according to the highest modern medical standards.
His Highness chaired a meeting to discuss the latest developments in the project, which was attended by the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, the Advisor at the Diwan of the Prime Minister, Dr. Khaled Al-Fadhel, the Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority, Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Acting Head of the Diwan of the Prime Minister, Sheikh Khaled Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Abdullah Al-Sabah, the Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority, Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah, the Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, the Assistant Undersecretary for Private Medical Services, Dr. Fatima Al-Najjar, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Health Assurance Hospitals Company, Mishari Al-Hajri.
On the other hand, as part of the government's follow-up on projects, the Minister of Public Works, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, inspected the new passenger terminal project (T2) at Kuwait International Airport, to follow up on the progress of the work and to review the progress of the project, where she stressed the importance of continuing efforts and accelerating completion while fully adhering to quality and safety standards, noting that the new passenger terminal project represents a strategic step to support the civil aviation sector and enhance Kuwait's ability to accommodate the increasing growth in air travel and transport.
